JUSTINE CLARKE - PLAYING LIVE AT IGA RHYMES FESTIVAL BRISBANE 2012!!
In her 11 years with Big Ted, Jemima and the rest of the iconic Playschool cast, Justine has released three extremely successful CD/ DVDs of childrens' songs, with original compositions by pianist Peter Dasent and backed by some of Australia's finest jazz musicians.
"I Like To Sing" (2005) is a certified gold album, a rarity in the world of kids' music. Its irrepressible tunes about watermelons, birthdays and libraries instantly entered the everyday family songbook and seem set for a long stay.
"Songs to Make You Smile" (2008) continued to broaden the horizons of the singalong children’s song, from exhilarating car-radio pop to country, swing, rock and other deceptively sophisticated musical settings for a warm and impeccably pitched voice that sounds, to adults and children alike, like that of an old friend.
"Great Big World" (2010) is the latest in a childrens' music catalogue which is now among ABC Records' most successful ever, with accompanying DVDs for each title continuing to find new homes with successive waves of preschoolers every year.
"Whether it’s singing or acting on stage," Justine says, "performing live is where I get my kicks."

On their island paradise these primates live to play fantastic music. With the help of their sloth mentor, music guru DJ Loose, and island caretaker, Todd the Mandrill, they create that unique Zing Zilla sound in time for their daily performance. The Big Zing!
Zing Zillas live show is set to be a stunning performance with live animatronic characters that take kids live shows to a whole new level.
Time to tap in an interactive 30 minute experience into the world of Tap Dancing, made famous by Mumble in the much loved movie “Happy feet” This experience will find children in a mass audience workshop with characters from the Happy Feet movie which involves music, movement learning to tap and audience participation.
Ukulele Baby Music is a collection of fun upbeat songs and lullabies that encourage engagement and entertainment with babies and toddlers, whilst introducing everyday concepts and activities.
Jurassic Joe has presented his shows to audiences at schools, preschools, childcare centres, museums, shopping centres, children's festivals, and libraries in New South Wales and Queensland to a growing audience of young fans.
The Jurassic Joe Show is aimed at a 2 to 8-year-old audience and involves the performance of songs by Jurassic Joe.
This is an interactive show with children singing, dancing, miming, focused listening, and learning while having a lot of fun as well.

Playing over 200 shows a year since 2008, both nationally and internationally , Brett's performances introduce people big and small to the
wonders of live music and his quirky songs are a hit with both children and adults.
You've seen similar style of disco's at the "big kids" festivals and we thought - this has to be a feature event at Rhymes.
We'll have 8 hours of music playing over 200 headphones that allow you and your little one to dance up a storm like never before.
Each person gets around up to 10 mins of dance time and we'll try and get everyone to have a go, but, please be aware that you may miss out if it gets busy and you're not prepared to do a line up for this area.
We'll have special guest character DJ's across the day, and you never know who you might see having a silent dance in our disco area.
The Fabulous Lemon Drops bring a unique live music experience to family audiences with a dynamic, high-energy show that aims to get children and their parents dancing, singing, thinking and laughing.
Part of the band’s appeal is its infectious sound, combining meaningful lyrics with catchy tunes that immediately connect with both children and adults alike. Their music is linked to specific themes, and they have created over one hundred original compositions exploring conservation to multiculturalism and everything in between. Michael’s current album Spikey & Friends is a uniquely Australian K-indie Rock Bush Adventure. “In My Backyard” takes kids on a joyful romp learning & respecting simple lessons about the bush, animal’s biology’s & habits as well as the history of this ancient land.
Circular Rhythm is an exciting contemporary musical performance incorporating innovative songs, dance and Australian culture via didgeridoo, guitar and percussion.
Featuring Lucas Proudfoot, established musician, cultural performer and former
professional surfer. With over 15 years experience and numerous international tours to date,
Lucas now hopes to inspire the young kids of today through his music and cultural experiences.
This show is fully interactive with students learning and playing instruments such the
didgeridoo and clap sticks alongside traditional dance and audience sing-a-longs.
